2006-May-31: Richie Meade, Head Coach US Naval Academy, to Coach UD Lax Camp

The high school Boys program is under the direction of Richie Meade, Head Coach US Naval Academy, and the separate high school Girls program is under the direction of Mirridith Cho, former player from the University of North Carolina Tar heels, and Coach at East Chapel Hill, 4 time state champs in NC.

The
camps will be held at the University of Dayton (UD) Campus from July 14th through July 16th this summer (spots still available). Monitored separate Boys & Girls University of Dayton V.W. Kettering Hall Dorms & Dinning Halls will be assigned just prior to the beginning of camp.

The Academy Lacrosse BMS instructional lacrosse camps are nationally recognized as one of the premier lacrosse camp programs in the country. Velocity Lacrosse & Sports was chosen, in conjunction with STX Lacrosse, will host this years Academy Lacrosse Body, Mind, and Spirit (BMS) Camp for the Ohio Valley.

The staff is composed of experienced lacrosse coaches and talented current Division I, II and III college players. A coach to player ratio of 8 to 1 is maintained.

Parents are welcome at ALL camp sessions.

Free HS Girls and HS Boys Coaches Clinics will be separately provided at UD in the new $25.3M Fitness and Recreational Complex (RecPlex) at 1PM on July 13th from 1PM to 5PM featuring key lacrosse drills, man-up and man-down plays, and game concepts and strategies.
