2009-Dec-20: March Columbus Tournament Details

Here is an update re: the indoor box tourny in Columbus> As I pointed out in earlier emails, this is the kick-off weekend for youth so it may be difficult for any of us involved in youth lax to make it. If you are interested let me know so we can let Columbus know if we are going to field a team, etc...
  • March 7 games from 10:00 to 2:00 (most likely time)
  • Will play at All-Star Sports using both fields 1 and 2
  • Games will be 25 minute running clock with 5 minute break.
  • 8 teams max.
  • 2 brackets of 4 teams each will play round robin, then will match up for final by record (Team 1 / 2, Team 3 / 4, Team 5 / 6, Team 7 / 8).
  • All teams will play 4 games.
  • Minimum age: 35 (firm)
  • Team registration: $350
  • Hospitality afterwards.
  • Any group fielding two teams are asked to create balanced teams, not to make an all-star team. Balanced teams will keep play equitable and reduce the risk of injuries.
